Mark qualified from Manchester Withington School of Physiotherapy in 1983. After working in hospital based practice in both the NHS and private sector, he established his private practice in St Albans Hertfordshire in 1990.

In addition to continuing his own post-graduate education, Mark regularly presents to primary care doctors in the GP vocational training scheme (GPVTS)
