Fiona Jacobsen MCSP
Fiona is Principal Physiotherapist at Physio2go® in St Albans. She trained at Addenbrookes School of Physiotherapy and has over 25 years experience in hospital and out-patients physiotherapy both in the NHS and private sector. During the last 20 years she has specialised in working with patients living with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, joint surgery, trauma and women’s health.
Fiona incorporates acupuncture as a modality for pain relief in many of her treatment regimes.
“I believe that a physiotherapist should work together with his/her patients, setting realistic targets and time lines. This helps to structure the patient rehabilitation and facilitates recovery.”
Fiona is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health. She has completed the Cyriax course in orthopaedic medicine and regularly participates in post graduate courses.
What our patients think…
“Fiona has been fantastic. So understanding and a good listener. She has helped me and my back so much. The receptionists are so good too – both of them.”
