Barbara Taylor MCSP
Barbara qualified from The Middlesex Hospital in London in 1978 and has over 25 years experience working in the NHS. She has specialised in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, working both on the wards and in outpatient clinics before working in the community for the past 17 years. Her work in Orthopaedics includes working with patients in their own homes both before and after joint replacement surgery. Her experience also includes respiratory and neurological conditions, including stroke and Parkinson’s disease.
“I believe that patient assessment and treatment in the home environment is essential to identify specific functional difficulties; this facilitates a timely and tailored physiotherapy programme in order to maximise recovery.”
Barbara is a member of the Association of Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists and regularly attends post-graduate courses to continue her professional development.
